Refund Policy

1. Overview

At KlarifyID, we strive to provide excellent service and value. This Refund Policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations for our identity verification services.

2. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial period. You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. After the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refund will be provided for the unused portion of the month.

4. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for prorated refunds if canceled within 30 days of initial purchase. After 30 days, annual fees are non-refundable. Upon cancellation, service will continue until the end of the paid annual period.

5. Usage-Based Charges

Charges for verification usage beyond plan limits are non-refundable. These charges are based on actual API calls made and services rendered. We recommend setting spending limits in your account to control usage-based costs.

6. Service Credits

In cases of significant service disruption or failure to meet SLA commitments, we may issue service credits at our discretion. Credits are applied to future invoices and have no cash value. Enterprise customers should refer to their SLA agreement for specific credit terms.

7. Exceptions

Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Technical issues preventing service use (verified by our support team)
  • Unauthorized charges on your account
  • Services not provided as described (within 30 days of initial purchase)

All refund requests under exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Email billing@klarifyid.online with your account details
  • Include your invoice number or transaction ID
  • Provide a detailed explanation of why you're requesting a refund
  • Allow 5-7 business days for review and response

9. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

10. Downgrades

If you downgrade from a paid plan to a lower-tier plan or the free plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund is provided for the current billing period. You retain access to your current plan features until the cycle ends.

11. Account Termination

If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be provided for any prepaid fees or unused service time. You are responsible for any outstanding charges at the time of termination.

12. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers with custom agreements should refer to their specific contract for refund terms. Custom pricing and payment terms may include different refund provisions than those outlined in this general policy.

13. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback, we will suspend your account immediately pending resolution. Chargebacks may result in permanent account closure and inability to use KlarifyID services. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.

14. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders.
